We collaborate with various agents (an agent in a complex adaptive system is a free entity whose interaction with other agents forms emergent patterns) of transformation who look at areas of research that integrate complex adaptive systems with concepts such as Innovation Change, Process Philosophy, Ecosystem Services Approach, and rethinking traditionally accepted economic analysis. On a more broader sense, we believe in big picture thinking where clarity can be achieved when reliance on parts of a system are not enough; rather, the system must be understood as a whole. This is fundamentally different from many approaches that have been used that solely rely on individual components or aggregations of parts.
Founder
Having a philanthropic mindset from an early age and being around knowledge grounded in advanced scientific principles that had a direct practical implication through engineering and management as my grandfather headed Exxon Mobil, the draw towards an interdisciplinary science was as formidable as the inherent need for finding ways to sustain a future that can thrive on the basis of a unique mixture.
This mixture, which I believe was once elusive, can now finally be harnessed – that is sustainable development, philanthropy, and impact investment initiatives grounded in analysis that can harness complexity’s ability to find solutions to pressing issues while dispelling the myth around inconsistencies that can no longer be neglected.
I founded Revive to address this void.
